Task distribution within the working group:
Freescale : Definition and realization of the demonstrators, supply of the measuring data, system modelling with MATLAB
Cadence : Work on interfaces between layer of circuitry and system (from C/C++/SystemC/Matlab to AMS designer) and at the total flow
Imtek ME: Modelling of sensor groups with MATLAB - sensor fusion

 

The aim

The aim of this working group is the development and usage of a methodology for the description of complex sensor groups, like they are used typically in motor vehicles.

Applications for example are applications for the control of the driving dynamics and navigation.

The following illustration shows a hardware demonstrator, that was developed for the examination and optimization of the algorithms developed in the project.

For example the center of rotation of a vehicle and thus the actual position can be determined very exactly over a sensor group. The measurement of the turning rate confirms the simulation and thus the developed algorithms.
