Dolphin DI-GmbH - SAXO
The SAXO development team has specialized in modeling and simulation of multi-domain systems, especially for micro mechanics, mechatronics and automotive applications. This covers the development of special libraries for direct usage within simulator SMASH, as well as the development of links with commonly used Design Automation Solutions in these application domains.
To serve the special needs of multi-domain systems design, the SAXO team proposes enrichments and innovations for libraries and EDA links, especially for schematic entry (SLED) and simulation (SMASH); they consequently help upgrade methodologies.
On these basis, SAXO is the focal point for competencies in specification rule checks applicable on single- and multi-domain systems, as well as competencies in multi-level Equivalence Assessment. These include:
- The capability to simulate systems at the system application level (PCB)
- development of methodologies to apply on-line specification rule checks
- involvement of a FAE (Field Application Engineer) for multi-domain systems
- adaptation of Schematic Editor SLED to the needs in graphic editing of multi-domain systems.
