SMASH diagnoses circuits with bugs thanks to its exclusive
features
Behind every good simulation there is a good designer!
Traditional solutions exploiting Cosimulation are unable
to deal with mixed-signal circuit configurations: that is because a
cosimulator may only associate a couple of autonomous simulators. Traditional
cosimulation backplanes either facilitate multi-level modeling, with
an Instruction Set simulation (ISS) coupled with RTL simulation, or
else they let some cumbersome and error-prone mixed signal modeling,
with an analog Golden simulator coupled with a logic simulator, but
not altogether ISS, logic and analog modeling!
Designers thus are faced with an untractable situation
where they need a lot of know-how and guess work for checking their
real SoC.
SMASH is the Platinum Reference enabling truthfully the combination
of ISS, logic and analog modeling with no need for a backplane: its
pending releases are proceeding to reinforce its unique features that
make it the best for mixed-signal or multi-level designs.
