Can I diffuse my generators
after their development?
To afford you that , we have developed two ways to
use GDS Compiler: developer and release.
The developer mode will be used to develop
the generator. For this mode, you will need a license file, it will
allow you to create your generator, make verifications and provides
many information about the layout, netlist, ...
The release mode is used when you have finished your generator
and you want to provide other persons with your generator. This mode
needs a free license only to link the executable, but is not necessary
to run that executable. All information and verifications about the
construction will be suppressed and the layout construction will be
faster.
You can link as much generators as you want and diffuse them to their
users. Your developments will not be visible by them (an executable
is a binary file).
