eSR-Bu-1.62∼3.63-0.8∼3.3 Inductorless switching regulator

Preliminary

High-Efficiency

Switching Regulator

eSR-Bu-1.62~3.63-0.8~3.3 is a inductor-based buck switching regulator designed to supply 0.8 to 3.3V rails in a wide range of applications. The integrated regulator is configurable before delivery to ensure optimized silicon area in applications requiring low-power loads. It can drive up to 600 mA with internal transistors and up to 5 A with external transistors.

It also features fully integrated active compensation circuitries which lower the bill-of-material as no additional external passive components are required.

SoC Providers and System Makers no longer need to worry about the embedded regulators in their SoC thanks to the additional Dolphin’s unique offering, AHM, for behavioral modeling of noise propagation in power networks.

Key benefits

High Efficiency

  • High efficiency buck regulator (up to 95%)
  • PFM based mode allowing high-efficiency at low load
  • Configured output drive before delivery to fit the application

Low Bill-of-Material:

  • Fully integrated feedback and active compensation loop do not require additional external passive components.

Low Output Ripple

Protected Output

  • Over current protection
  • Over temperature protection
  • Soft-start

TYPICALLY ASSOCIATED WITH

• System Rails
• Logic I/O
• Peripherals
• As upstream converter to supply downstream regulators and functions
