SRO-1.8∼3.6/0.7∼1.3 Inductorless Switching Regulator
Stable & high efficiency |
Low noise |
Low Bill-of-Material |
Switching Regulators - referred as DC-DC converters - should be considered for converting an input voltage higher than the output voltage whenever the SoC target a power sensitive application.
The combination of an inductorless architecture and of a patent pending regulation loop ensures, to this SRO, a stable and high efficiency whatever the load variation. SoC Providers and System Makers no longer need to worry about the decrease of power efficiency whenever a low cost inductance is preferred for BoM considerations.
Specific modes, standby and sleep, provide the SoC designers with ultimate means to achieve the lowest power consumption whether dynamic or static.
The low output ripple, the low EMI and the low noise emission of this SRO, make it useable with SoCs even embedding sensitive analog and RF circuitries.
At last, SoC Integrators shall enjoy the unique support provided for ensuring that the SRO can be safely embedded in their SoC thanks to DOLPHIN unique noise tolerance templates.
