sensAFE-PM-SV.09 Power metering applications

PRELIMINARY

Single phase

20 bits Measurement Subsystem

Low Cost BoM / High resolution

Designed for enabling up to high precision power metering applications, class up to 0.1 and ranges up to 1/2000, the sensAFE-PM-SV.09 is based on a low power and small area ΣΔ analog to digital converter (ADC) and low noise programmable gain amplifier (PGA). It combines the 3 paths needed for a single-phase measurement of power (voltage, current and tampering) and an automatic gain control (AGC) for area and power consumption optimization.
Thanks to the power supply network (provided by two Linear Regulators) and the embedded low drift reference voltage which finalize this Super Virtual Component (Super ViC), the application will benefit from a sub-system providing the easiest integration and lowest cost of Bill-of-Materials.
It can be easily upgraded to a three-phases application for a highest density.
